Alright, so I know I've broken my promise a million times now, and I'm not going to be able to promise that this will be for real, but hopefully it is.

To make up for all of those delays, we're just going straight to the video contests and I'm going to make the prizes even better now! (I think....)

First off, the following people have been accepted for the Trial Moderator Process. Even if you do not become a full moderator, you will be able to participate in a Volunteers Only contest (to make up for all of your hard work during this time) where prizes will also be handed out.

Now for that Contest!!!

So what I've decided on is two video/media contests, beginning today and ending on April 1st, 2010. What you have to do is make a video advertising IG4L.net or a work of art for our site. It can be a video of you using hacks in a game, or just a pure media skills advert, but we prefer game hacking videos that advertise what we offer

We want you to suggest prizes for this competition though, so nothing has been decided on. Feel free to do that here. One thing that we have decided on is a few 10,000 NX Cards and some Gift Cards to Amazon that will be handed out

Another thing we want to point out is the two video contests parts.

Contest 1) Random Winner - The more videos you have, or the more artwork you make, the more likely you win!
NOTE: Videos entered in the random contest will be screened for quality though. If it's really a poorly done, rushed video, or if it's similar to your previous entries, it will not qualify for this contest.

Contest 2) Points Winner - You will receive points for your entries. The person with the single video that is rewarded the most points wins! Maximum of 100 points possible for Quality, Hacking, Advertising, Music, and Video Description. Tie-breakers will be decided by total number of points.

Make sure that you include a link to IG4L in all of your entries!!

ByteAir 1 Year!! Contest Updates~Moderators Wanted!!

I'm SOOO sorry for all of these delays again!! January has just been an extremely hectic month for me, so I haven't really had the time to do much here.

But to make up for all of these delays, first, we are going to be opening up moderator applications!! New year + ByteAir 1 year anniversary calls for some serious remodeling!! All of this will be done in no time at all, so stay tuned (this time, for real ) Current moderators AND new ones may receive a bonus if the following contests go well!! =D

Other than that, we will also give TWO people 10,000 NX OR $10 via paypal (you can try to negotiate something if you don't won't those. Just make sure it's under $10.) These two people will be randomly selected from our Facebook and Twitter fans! More people will win, don't worry!! We have plenty of prizes to go around

PLUS, we will be donating part of our revenue from January to help support the earthquake disaster in Haiti. I know that what we can donate is not a lot, but personally I think that they need all they can get right now...

Merry Christmas!: IG4L Socialmedia Contest Part 1

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone!

As part of our IG4L.net Holiday Season Contests, we are starting off with a socialmedia connectivity event! All you have to do is to follow us on Twitter, become a Fan on Facebook, and other things that we introduce throughout the duration of the contest! There will be randomly selected winners at least three times (each time, one person is selected from one of the groups.)

The more people that follow us on twitter and become fans on Facebook, the more people will win!

Goals will be released as the contest goes on, for example, we may say "if we reach 9,001 members by said date, we'll give two people a prize!" or "Reach xxxx members, Prize will be $25, if goal not reached, $15 " etc! So that means you have to tell all of your friends and work hard to advertise the site by making quality videos (Video Contest later on!).

Prizes will range from 10k NX, Gift Cards, Credits to Purchase VIP Hacks (we will not buy it for you), PayPal money, among other prizes which will be announced later on!

As a teaser, all we're telling you right now is that we will sneak in at least two video contests and one possible gfx contest AND maybe, if everything is going really well, one Mystery Contest!!!

The prizes for all of these WILL depend on how many Fans and Followers we get, Youtube Subscribers, etc!

It's been a long year, it's been a great year, IG4L is ready to party!

Well, I know that the site was having a few problems for the last few days. I tried fixing it, but our friend Water Man pointed out something that makes me feel stupid... "Just reupload everything so you don't have to check the files."

Hmmm, so that's what I did and the site is fully functioning now!!! To be honest, the reason the site went offline was to prepare for the upcoming contest that was promised back in November. I am sorry for all of the delays, but it's finally happening!!! Yay!! =D

Now this time, when I say, I'll post the first contest out of the set (Yes, there will be multiple contests!!!) in the next couple of days (there has to be planning and some discussions with the IG4L Volunteer Team [pertaining the moderators and such]) Originally, the planning was to be completed by last Monday so the contest could start... on Monday. Obviously that couldn't happen because the site was offline >.>

Anyways! IG4L is back online, and we just want to say Thank You ahead of time for the great year which is coming to a close soon, and I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays! Be safe, stay safe, and stay in tune for the IG4L Contests!!

P.S. Yes we will be recruiting new moderators in a sec, I'll make another post LATER about requirements + how to enlist. Please note that becoming a moderator does not make you a staff member of IG4L.net. Moderators are Volunteers that help with the site, and receive no pay. It is true however that I have given out gifts to volunteers in the past. The reason for this is for legal purposes (I.E. if we are ever sued you are not held reliable, so this is to protect YOU, not because I'm lazy or mean.)

Okay, so I know that we reached this goal 24 hours ago, however I really just wanted to thank everyone for making this happen! It hasn't been too long since the IG4L.net one year birthday, and I know we haven't really done anything since then.

So, I'm going to announce that we will be having a celebration for everything that just happened and for the future ByteAir Media One Year Birthday!

I'm sorry to say, that it's not going to be as originally planned because we want to make the contest easier and more fair. I no longer believe in one person, or two people receiving a prize and then a few other people receiving something of lesser value. So this time, we are going to have multiple events, each with smaller prizes so that more people can win, and less people will feel left out!

However, because I know that I did promise (with no guarentee though) that there would be a Media/Video contest like always, I will include that and there will be a 1, 2, 3 prize system, but the prizes will not be the ones that were originally promised.

If you are disappointed about our new decision, please know that this way more people can win, so you have a higher chance to win as well. Also keep in mind that not all of them will require skill, but rather chance and effort. We are possibly going to spend more money because of this new plan as well, so it's not because I do not want to spend $200 to buy a prize for 1st place. This decision is so more people are happy, and it's for the best interests of the community.

All of our contests and events are free to enter, and free to win. We won't try to cheat you of your prize, and we won't ban you. Just ask any member that has participated in a previous contest. The only requirement we have is for you to be a member on our forums. So if you're not, sign up now! If you are, good job

Further information about the first event will be released around Thanksgiving. Each contest will last for it's own set time, and there may be multiple contests running at the same time. I plan to either have the video contest in the middle, or have it as the very last event for a special "bang". Once again, please tell us what you think about this. If we agree with your suggestion or your opinion, we will take it into consideration.

We Know There is a Problem

We know there a a problem with the site, but there's another one too. CHHANSEN is too busy to do anything about it.

I suck with servers but apparently the server is maxed out (hard drive) because when I log into the control panel, it says disk space is 99%.

I'll see if I can find some files to delete, if not we'll just upgrade.
